Nokia present two new system one of which is the Nokia X2-01, a Series 40 describe phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The new Nokia X2-01 has a 2.4-inch QVGA screen with a VGA camera at rear. This new multimedia phone runs on Symbian 40 operating system. The full QWERTY keypad helps the users for easy messaging and to stay connected with their through social hubs.

Nokia’s change in naming methodology was supposed to make figuring out where new devices in their line-up fitted in more straightforward; unfortunately, it’s already at the point where the company’s official blog is having to re-explain why there are two X2-branded devices. Considering the X2-01 is seemingly labelled as the X2 on the handset itself, we’re not surprised that consumers are confused.

The phone is expected to run on S40 when it launches this quarter and if you’re a bit confused by the naming convention of this phone, Nokia’s blog does offer clarification that the X in X2 refers to the X series of phones that they sell which place a greater emphasis on music and are aimed at the youth market.

Nokia’s new phone features a 2.4-inch QVGA screen display and includes a VGA camera, support for quadband EDGE/GSM, Bluetooth 2.1_EDR and a 3.5mm headphone jack. If you believe that these features are fairly basic, you are probably right and Nokia recognizes this, keeping the price tag of an unsubsidized phone at a reasonable price of $110.
