The phone comes in 10 vibrant colors to choose from namely, black, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red, silver, yellow and white. The Sony Ericsson Yendo will be available in selected markets from Q3.

The phone has a 2.6-inch touchscreen and the same user interface found on the X8 and X10 mini. However, under the custom UI, there will not be Android, but Sony Ericsson's proprietary platform. Still, the Yendo will bring along all that you love about Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones, including the Walkman player, TrackID and PlayNow, as well as features like a 2MP camera, 3.5mm jack and 156MHz processor.The similarities come from the design and UI departments, where the Yendo clearly resonates with the above-mentioned devices. However, the main difference is the lack of a smartphone platform, or in this case – of Android. Instead, users will be treated to a proprietary Sony Ericsson platform, disguised with the same interface that is also employed with the X10 mini and X8.
