Sony's 14.1-megapixel DSC-T99 camera is a large affordable T-series Cyber-shot model that will be attainable for about $250. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T99 digital camera replaces the company's previous TX1 model, and is based around a 14.1 megapixel Sony Super HAD CCD image sensor with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar-branded 4x optical zoom lens. Everything else the camera does is controlled by its LCD touch screen. The display is quite responsive, but the interface does lag somewhat. Still, it’s easy to navigate your way around the T99’s functions via the touch screen. The touch screen is one of this camera’s main selling points, so if you’re not a fan of touch screens, or couldn’t be happy with a screen that’s not as responsive as the iPhone’s, you’d be better off with the W350.
