Get ready to feel a more fruitful you with Dell’s new Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 smartphone with T-Mobile service set to be available in the U.S. this holiday season. It’s about mobile productivity doing more in fewer steps.
Interestingly enough the retailer's web site mentions that the Venue Pro is packing a microSD card slot. Dell didn't say anything about it at the announcement, which is somewhat strange, considering that there is only one other WP7 device to come with this feature.
Dell Venue Pro Smartphone, A 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen AMOLED display encouraging a max.resolution of 800 X 480 pixels. The smartphone arise equipped with 1 GHz Qualcomm 8250 SnapDragon processor and is also promoted with 512MB ram and 1GB internal memory. Dell Venue Pro smartphone specifications include 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, AGPS, Digital Compass, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, 3.5mm audio jack and MicroSD card slot.
In hand, the HD7 feels solid and slightly slimmer than the Evo 4G and HD7, but still bulky overall. The phone felt fast and comes with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 16GB of onboard memory. Of course, we'll really put it through its paces when we get a final unit, but so far we're liking what we see.
The HD7 is expected to ship sometime in mid-November. As T-Mobile has been known to do, the carrier will bundle several extra services with the HD7, including Netflix and T-Mobile TV, as well as its new T-Mobile Family Room app, which will allow you to share calendars, notes, and photos with family members.
