Intel launches the Atom processor-Z670 Oak Trail.It the ideal solution for small devices such as mobile assistants,tablet etc..This Atom processor has 1.5GHz clock speed.Z670-the processor integrated with high graphics supporting such as 1080p full High Definition playback.Because of the lower power design the battery life for that devices which use this processor must have long battery life.It is the one of the advantage of this Atom Z670 processor.This processor 60 percent smaller than other Atom processors.
It has 512 KB of L2 cache and support for up to 2 GB of DDR2 at 800 MHz.Intel Z670 manufactured on 45nm process, and featured 3 Watt Thermal Design Power..Intel SM35 Express Chipset will provide the necessary USB 2.0 support.The processor is priced at $75.
Intel will launch a new version of Oak Trail that is Cedar Trail platform.That will support Blu-ray,HDMI output at 1920×1080,Wireless Display etc.It also support 1080p video decodewith help of an integrated HD decode engine.Cedar Trail uses the NM10 chipset.
